Ladies will be thrilled to know that every Wednesday night is Ladies’ Night, and the following promotions are or will be offered: You can also find a list of Small Bites on the menu should you wish to enjoy your cocktails with some light snacks. Of course, the menu is not solely limited to cocktails at Up-Stairs Bar. A must-try for anyone looking for a delicious and intriguing cocktail experience. We found the cocktail well-balanced, fruity with just the right amount of bitterness and perfect for sipping before or after a meal. The cocktail was bright red in colour and made with Gin infused with chrysanthemum (flower), peppercorn syrup, fresh red dragon fruit juice, fresh lemon juice and pandan leaf. What we found most intriguing was the suggestive names of the cocktails on the menu under the Crane Craft Cocktails list which are based on ancient Chinese lovemaking (haiyah!) positions such as Fish Interlock Their Scales and Phoenix Hovers which would make anyone blush, yet add a little bit of naughtiness and excitement to your night out! cocktails with hamsap names The Dragon Turnsįrom this menu, we were recommended The Dragon Turns (RM55/++), one of their signature craft cocktails. Bartenders, Jan and Bryan are a fun and entertaining pair ready to whip up a repertoire of cocktail creations using a plethora of spirits infused with fresh fruit juices, tea, spice and aromatic leaves. The bar also has a balcony where patrons can sit and enjoy their drinks outside while watching the busy street below. balcony in the bar that looks out to the street
HIDDEN BAR KL 2020 PLUS
Sheer curtains plus plush red sofas lend an elegantly sophisticated vibe to the space. The upbeat music playing in the background made us want to sway to the rhythm, too.

The inside of the bar is dimly lit with sensual ruby-hued lighting. The entrance to the bar is cleverly hidden in this red wall which exudes a sense of mystery. To access the Bar, we had to enter through a door from the interior of the restaurant and climb up a stairway that led to a foyer with a stunningly bright red textured wall. The Up-Stairs Bar is on the second level of Crane KL and opens from 4pm to midnight every Tuesday to Sunday. We mentioned in yesterday’s article on Crane KL Restaurant that we wanted to try out their Up-Stairs Bar next.
